Mount Madia-as

Mount Madja-as is a large dormant volcano and the highest peak in the island of Panay, in the Philippines. It is the second highest mountain in the Visayas, after Mount Kanlaon on Negros Island. With an elevation of 6,946 feet (2,117 meters) above sea level, it is the 63rd-highest peak of an island on Earth and the 9th-most prominent mountain in the Philippines. The mountain is famous for its "sea of clouds" and for its diverse flora and fauna, mossy forest and 14 waterfalls down to its slopes.
