Nagnajiti

Nagnajiti, also known as Satya and Nappinnai, is the fifth of the Ashtabharya, the eight principal queen-consorts of Hindu god Krishna (avatar of the god Vishnu and the king of Dwarka - in the Dwapara Yuga epoch). In the Vaishnavite texts, Nagnajiti is said to be the incarnation of Nila devi, the third consort of Lord Vishnu. During the Dwapara Yuga, Neela Devi was born on the earth as the daughter of King Nagnajita, of Kosala. Nagnajita was also called as Kumbagan, and he was the brother of Yashoda. He had two children, Nagnajiti and Sudama. Krishna competed in the svayamvara arranged by Nagnajita, and as per the set rules he brought seven ferocious bulls under control by putting noose around each of them and thus won Nagnajiti as his wife.
