Ned Quinn

Edmund "Ned" Quinn (born May 1923) is an Irish retired hurler who played as a left wing-back for the Galway senior team. Born in Ardrahan, County Galway, Quinn first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Galway minor team. He made his senior debut during the 1949-50 league. Quinn immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen, and won one National Hurling League medal. He was an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion. Corless retired from inter-county hurling following the conclusion of the 1954 championship.
