Neil Davies (Australian footballer)

Neil Davies (9 December 1931 – 23 February 2009) was an Australian rules footballer who played in four states, but most notably for Glenelg in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). He also had a stint with Victorian Football League (VFL) club Richmond. The fourth and final state of Davies football career was Queensland and from 1964 to 1967 he played for Western Districts. He even represented Queensland's interstate team. In 2002 he was named in Glenelg's Hall of Fame and the same year was one of the inaugural inductees into the South Australian Football Hall of Fame.
