Nizamat Imambara

The Nizamat Imambara (Bengali: নিজামত ইমামবাড়া) is a Shia Muslim congregation hall in Murshidabad, India. It is the famous Imambara in the World. The present Nizamat Imambara was built in 1740 AD by Siraj Ud Daullah but in 1847 Nawab Mansur Ali Khan rebuild the Imambara. The old Imambara built by Nawab Siraj ud-Daulah was destroyed by the fires of 1842 and 1846. This Imambara is the largest one in World and Bengal.
