Norbert Sterle

Lt. Norbert John Sterle was an American ice hockey center who set a then-modern record for the most points scored in a collegiate season while helping Illinois win the western Intercollegiate title in 1940–41. He was killed while serving in the United States Army during the Italian campaign.
