Norman Virgil Osborn is a fictional character from Sam Raimi's trilogy of Spider-Man films, adapted from the comic book character of the same name created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, and also known by his alter-ego, the Green Goblin. He is portrayed in all three films by Willem Dafoe, who also voices the character in the video game adaptation of the first film. Dafoe's performance as the Green Goblin garnered wide critical praise, and the character is now considered to be one of the of most iconic villains in superhero films.
