Nova Kakhovka

Nova Kakhovka (Ukrainian: Нова Каховка, Russian: Новая Каховка) is a city in Kherson Oblast of southern Ukraine, recognized as the Monument of Architecture, and was part of the Great Construction Projects of Communism. It is administratively incorporated as a city of oblast significance and is an important river port on Dnieper River and the Kakhovka Reservoir. It is also the site of the , (Ukrainian: Таврійські ігри, translit. Tavriys'ki ihry), the most popular annual international music festival in the region. Population: 45,422 (2020 est.)
