Paul D. Wohlers is a U.S. diplomat who served from 2011 to 2015 as the U.S. ambassador to Macedonia, stationed at the U.S. embassy in Skopje. Wohlers graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1974 with a B.S. in international affairs. He then served as a Naval Flight Officer, attached to the USS Eisenhower. He earned a J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 1982. Wohlers is married and has three daughters. His brother, Laurence D. Wohlers, was the U.S. Ambassador to the Central African Republic from 2010 to 2013.
