Pietrowice Wielkie [pjɛtrɔˈvit͡sɛ ˈvjɛlkʲɛ] (German: Groß Peterwitz) is a village in Racibórz County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the Czech border. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Pietrowice Wielkie. It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) west of Racibórz and 68 km (42 mi) west of the regional capital Katowice. The village has a population of 2,400.
