Princess Suknyeong

Princess Suknyeong (Hangul: 숙녕옹주, Hanja: 淑寧翁主; 1649 - 17 September 1666) was a Korean Royal Princess as the only daughter of King Hyojong of Joseon and Royal Noble Consort An of the Gyeongju Yi clan. The Princess married Bak Pil-Seong (박필성), son of Bak Tae-Jang (박태장) from the Bannam Bak clan in 10 April 1662 (3rd year reign of Hyeonjong of Joseon). Later, on 4 August 1662, Bak given title as Prince Consort Geumpyeong (금평위, 錦平尉). However, Bak lived 80 years more than the Princess and died at the age 96 years old in 10 July 1747 (23rd year reign of Yeongjo of Joseon). The Princess's tomb was firstly located in Sojeokseong-dong, Dong-myeon, Yangju, Gyeonggi-do and then moved to Songreung-ri, Jingeon-myeon, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do.
