Queen Seongpyeong

Queen Seongpyeong of the Kaeseong Wang clan (Korean: 성평왕후 왕씨; Hanja: 成平王后 王氏; ? - 25 August 1247) was a Korean Queen Consort and the only wife of Huijong of Goryeo. In 1211 (7th year reign of Huijong of Goryeo), she was chosen as his Queen Consort and then given royal title as Princess Hampyeong (함평궁주, 咸平宮主). She later bore him 5 sons and 5 daughters. Meanwhile, the Queen passed away on 25 August 1247 (34th year reign of Gojong of Goryeo) and was buried in Soreung tomb. Then, in 1253, she was given name Jeongjang (정장, 貞章).
