Růžena Škodová-Davoodi

Růžena Škodová-Davoodi, née Škodová (born February 14, 1948 in Chomutov, Czechoslovakia) is a former Damen-Basketball-Bundesliga player in the women's basketball team of and . Born in Chomutov, Růžena grew up in Prague, where she met her first husband, the chess master Otto Borik. Together they fled to the Federal Republic of Germany because of the violent suppression of the Prague Spring by the Soviet Red Army. There she received German citizenship a few years later.
