Reddy Foster

Oscar E. Foster (1864–1908) was a Major League Baseball player for the New York Giants in 1896. He primarily played catcher and outfielder in his minor league career, which lasted from 1890–1900. His fiery temper was known to get him in trouble with umpires frequently. His only appearance in the Majors was as a pinch hitter in one game for the Giants on June 3, 1896. He committed suicide by shooting in Richmond, VA.
