Reggie Jones-Sawyer
Reginald Byron Jones-Sawyer, Sr. (born January 14, 1957) is an American politician currently serving in the California State Assembly. He is a Democrat representing the 59th Assembly District, which encompasses portions of South Los Angeles, the neighborhoods of Florence-Graham and Walnut Park, and a part of Huntington Park. Jones-Sawyer is a member of the California Legislative Black Caucus, and served as Chair from 2015-2016. Before being elected to the Assembly in 2012, he was Assistant Deputy Mayor for the City of Los Angeles.
