Revolutionary Palestinian Communist Party

The Revolutionary Palestinian Communist Party (Arabic: الحزب الشيوعي الفلسطيني-الثوري‎) is a small Palestinian political party, founded in October 1982. Arabi Awwad was the general secretary of the party. As of the early 2000s, the party headquarters were in Damascus. The party calls for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on "all national soil" through armed struggle. The RPCP took part in the armed resistance against the Israeli invasion in Lebanon, a number of party members (including Awwad's son Fahd Awwad) were killed during this struggle.
