Rich Rodriguez (baseball)
Richard Anthony Rodriguez (born March 1, 1963), a graduate of Mountain View High School in the city of El Monte, California, is a retired professional baseball player who pitched in the Major Leagues from 1990 to 2003. Rodriguez was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 17th round of the 1981 Major League Baseball Draft, but did not sign, opting to attend the University of Tennessee. He was drafted again by the New York Mets in the 9th round of the 1984 Major League Baseball Draft, and signed.
