Rosina Dafter
Rosina Dafter (née Fitton), FRAS (15 March 1875 - 9 June 1959) was an astronomer and the first Australian woman to be made a fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society. She re-discovered the Pons-Winnecke comet in 1927 and was responsible for the discovery of previously unobserved variable stars in the Carina constellation.
