Sandra Laugier is a French philosopher, working on moral philosophy, political philosophy, philosophy of language, gender studies, and popular culture. She is currently a full professor of philosophy at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Senior member of the Institut Universitaire de France, after being a professor at the University of Picardie Jules Verne in Amiens until 2010. Since 2019, she has been the principal investigator of the ERC programme devoted to the philosophy of tv series Demoseries. She is also a columnist at the French journal Libération.
