Sergei Bautin

Sergei Vladimirovich Bautin (born March 11, 1967 in Rahachow, Byelorussian SSR, Soviet Union) is a retired ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League for the Winnipeg Jets, Detroit Red Wings and the San Jose Sharks. Winnipeg Jets GM Mike Smith drafted Bautin in the first round, 17th overall in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. Sergei ended up playing 130 games for the Jets, scoring 5 goals and 25 assists for 30 points, collecting 176 penalty minutes. He wore the number 3, and was usually paired with fellow Russian Igor Ulanov.
