Shorea laeviforia

Shorea laeviforia is a plant species in the genus Shorea. Valoneic acid dilactone, flavogallonic acid dilactone, , ellagic acid and gallic acid are hydrolysable tannins that can be isolated from the heartwood of S. laeviforia as well as two stilbenoids, (an ε-viniferin-ascorbic acid hybrid compound) and (an O-glucoside of ampelopsin A).
