It is best known as the Portuguese entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 1965, held in Naples. The song is in the chanson style, popular in the early years of the Contest. de Oliveira takes the role of a woman whose lover is ending their relationship, and tells him how she feels. She compares her situation to that of the winter sun, singing that she has "no warmth".
