The St. Peter Cathedral (Spanish: Catedral de San Pedro) Also Riobamba Cathedral Is the name that receives a temple affiliated to the Catholic Church that is located in the streets 5 of June between José Veloz and Espejo in the city of Riobamba part of the province of Chimborazo in the South American country of Ecuador. It emphasizes its façade of baroque style restored of an old structure destroyed by the earthquake of 1797 and in which it mixes Spanish and indigenous elements. The current structure was built between 1810 and 1835. It was rebuilt in 1967.
