Starcrash

Starcrash is a 1978 American space opera film directed and co-written by Italian filmmaker Luigi Cozzi, and starring Marjoe Gortner, Caroline Munro, Christopher Plummer, David Hasselhoff and Joe Spinell. It is widely regarded as a "cash-in" on the unprecedented success of Star Wars. Filmed in Rome, the film was an American production produced independently by brothers Nat and Patrick Wachsburger for Los Angeles-based New World Pictures. It is considered a cult classic.
