Stephen Kerr
Stephen Charles Kerr (born 26 September 1960) is a Scottish politician serving as Convener of the Education, Children and Young People Committee since 2021. A member of the Scottish Conservative Party, he has been a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the Central Scotland region since 2021. Kerr was previously a Member of Parliament (MP) for Stirling in the British House of Commons from 2017, until he was defeated by Alyn Smith in 2019. In March 2021, Kerr was listed number one on the Scottish Conservative Central Scotland party list for the Scottish Parliament elections 2021.
