Sue Hardesty (also known as Sue A. Hardesty) [1933 - ] is an American author originally from Buckeye, Arizona, whose writing focuses on plots and characters from the Southwestern United States, and upon social themes, lesbianism, feminism, complex female characters, and family relationships. She is a retired jack-of-all-trades who has been writing for most of her life. She has been a long-time supporter and/or member of NOW (the Central Oregon Coast Chapter), Rainbow Round Table of the American Library Association, PFLAG, the Golden Crown Literary Society, and the Lambda Literary Foundation.
