Sydney Pope
Air Commodore Sydney Leo Gregory Pope, CBE, DFC, AFC (27 March 1898 – 5 November 1980) was a British World War I flying ace credited with six aerial victories while serving in the Royal Flying Corps. He then made the Royal Air Force his career, finally retiring in 1946 after serving in Bomber Command's B5 Group.
