The men's doubles competition was part of the tennis program at the 1988 Summer Olympics. It was held from 23 September to 1 October at the Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Center. There were 62 players (31 pairs) from 31 nations, with the Colombian pair withdrawing. Each nation had only one pair. The event was won by Ken Flach and Robert Seguso of the United States, defeating Sergio Casal and Emilio Sánchez of Spain in the final. It was the second consecutive American victory in the event, though 64 years came between the two wins, and third overall—matching Great Britain for most among nations. There was no bronze medal match; both Czechoslovakia (Miloslav Mečíř and Milan Šrejber) and Sweden (Stefan Edberg and Anders Järryd) received bronze medals. It was the first medal in the event for each o
