Thomas C. Taylor

Thomas Charles "Tom" Taylor (born May 2, 1948 in Farmington, New Mexico) is the minority floor leader in the New Mexico House of Representatives, 2006–2010. He represented the New Mexico State House 1st district centered on Farmington in San Juan County, from January 1999 through 2014. Taylor is a graduate of Brigham Young University and the University of New Mexico. He is the former owner and operator of Farmington Lumber and Hardware, and was a former mayor of Farmington. He and his wife Bev are the parents of four children. Taylor is a Latter-day Saint.
