Timothy J. Dunne is a British scholar of international relations and Professor of International Relations at the University of Queensland. He was previously professor of International Relations and Head of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Exeter, UK. He has recently taken up a post of Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Queensland, Australia. As a theorist, Dunne has written on many paradigms, but his primary theoretical interest is in the English school. He has served as an associate editor for several journals, including the Review of International Studies, the , and was an editor of the European Journal of International Relations (which is in the top 5 journals in the world for impact, according to the Journal Citation Reports).
