Truth In Journalism
Truth in Journalism, also known as Venom: Truth in Journalism, is a 2013 American short film based on the Marvel Comics anti-hero Venom and the 1992 black comedy crime mockumentary Man Bites Dog, starring Ryan Kwanten, Derek Mears, and Denis Sergovskiy, produced by Adi Shankar and directed by Joe Lynch. The film was first screened at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con International. In March 2017, Shankar was reported to have been on the short list of those considered to direct Venom in response to the positive reception to Truth in Journalism.
