USS Resolute (SP-3003)

Note: This ship should not be confused with the third USS Resolute (SP-1309) or fourth USS Resolute (SP-3218), which were in commission at the same time. The fifth USS Resolute (SP-3003), also referred to by the designation ID-3003, was a motorboat that entered service in the United States Navy as a ship's tender in 1918. Resolute served her entire U.S. Navy career as a ship's tender for the transport USS Mount Vernon (ID-4508), and was carried aboard Mount Vernon for use at Mount Vernon's various ports of call.
