Uyunid Emirate
The Uyunid Emirate, Uyunid Kingdom or Uyunid State (Arabic: الدولة العيونية), was founded by Abdullah bin Ali Al Uyuni in 1076-1077. The tribe seized the country from the Qarmatians with the military assistance of the Great Seljuq Empire in 1077-1078 AD. The country mainly consisted of the region of Bahrain in the east of the Arabian Peninsula.
