Vicente Cañas y Portocarrero

Vicente María Cañas y Portocarrero, 7th Duke of Parque (1755 – 12 March 1824), also known in some biographies as Diego de Cañas y Portocarrero, was a Lieutenant-General and a Spanish military leader during the Peninsular War. He commanded the Spanish forces at the battles of Tamames, El Carpio and Alba de Tormes. He went on to become a deputy and president of Spain's Congreso de los Diputados (November 1822 to December 1822).
