Vishvendra Singh

Vishvendra Singh (born 23 June 1962) is an Indian politician. He belongs to the Indian National Congress. Before 2008, he has been associated with Bhartiya Janta Party and Janata Dal. He was the Cabinet Minister in the Government of Rajasthan, India. Singh being a royal always had political advantages, however he lost to Digamber Singh in 2008, this victory gave Digamber Singh a superior hand over Vishvendra. Digamber then was considered the leader of Jats in Rajasthan. He is the son of the last ruler of the princely state of Bharatpur.
