Vladimir Fedorovich Petrovsky (Russian: Влади́мир Фёдорович Петро́вский, IPA: [vlɐˈdʲimʲɪr ˈfʲɵdərəvʲɪtɕ pɪˈtrovskʲɪj]; 29 April 1933, Stalingrad – 21 February 2014) was a Soviet/Russian diplomat, Ambassador, professor in history, politician and writer. Vladimir Petrovsky died on 21 February 2014 after a long illness. Mira Petrovsky, his wife lives in Moscow, together with their daughter Lena.
