Whyalla Croatia
Whyalla Croatia is an Australian soccer club from the regional city of Whyalla, South Australia. The club was founded by Whyalla's Croatian Australian community in 1960. In 1964 the Club developed its current home ground Croatia Park, which also coincided winning its first league championship that year. In a golden era Whyalla Croatia went on to win 10 league championships in a row from 1968 to 1977 as well as winning the annual Australian Croatia Soccer Tournament in 1977. Whyalla's best player is former Adelaide United player Carl Veart. As a Whyalla local he started his soccer career at the club.
