It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Dopiewo and 20 km (12 mi) west of the regional capital Poznań. The village has a population of 623. On April 10th 2020, a case of African Swine Fever near the village was reported on a local commercial pig farm which is the second case of ASF in the country involving a commercial pig farm.
