Datuk Yusof bin Yacob is a Malaysian politician who has been the State Minister of Education and Innovation. He has served as the Member of Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Sindumin since May 2018. He is a member of the Sabah Heritage Party (WARISAN). He formerly had served as the Deputy Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat from 17 May 2004 to 19 December 2007. Yusof is also the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Sipitang (1995-2008) in Sabah. He was a former member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) which is part of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition, until he quit and joined WARISAN in 2018.
