Digital collaboration is one of the goals of Smart Industry. Collaboration between manufacturing companies, ICT suppliers, knowledge institutions and sector organizations is paramount in this. Yet it is not easy to link ICT systems between companies. Current practice shows that many companies solve this manually: employees manually type information from an order received into their own system. The partners of the Fieldlab Smart Connected Supplier Network are looking for solutions for this. For example, clear agreements are made about a common exchange language. This includes the exchange of orders, forecasts, TPDs/BOMs/drawings, invoices and logistics information.
