2000 Mar del Plata Sevens

The 2000 Mar del Plata Sevens was a Rugby Sevens tournament held in Argentina as the fourth stop of the 1999–2000 World Sevens Series season. The competition was held on 12 and 13 January 2000 at the Estadio José María Minella in Mar del Plata. The host Argentina won the Plate competition while Fiji won their second title of the Series by defeating New Zealand 26-14 in the final. The Mar del Plata Sevens was not included in the world sevens circuit for the 2000–01 Series.
