Acıpayam, Elâzığ

Acıpayam, historically known as Dadeş, is a village in Elâzığ Province, situated at the East Anatolia section of Turkey. The village has a population of 372, which consists of Turkish people with no minorities. The village is 18 km (11 mi) away from Elâzığ. Located at the skirt of the mountains, it is rich in natural water, which feeds the agricultural lands, make the land highly fertile. The famous delicacies are flat stone bread, patila, kofik, dolma (stuffed pepper, auborgine and tomatoes) and dried grape paste (pestil).
