Adavi Simhalu (English: Forest Lions) is a 1983 Telugu Action film produced by C. Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies and directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. The film stars Krishna, Krishnam Raju, Sridevi, Jaya Prada in the lead roles and music composed by Chakravarthy. The film was remade in Hindi as Jaani Dost in the same year with Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Sridevi, Parveen Babi in pivotal roles. Both the movies were made simultaneously by the same banner and director, some of the scenes and artists are replicated in both the versions.
