Agrotis longidentifera

The Brown Cutworm (Agrotis longidentifera) is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found in Eastern and Southern Africa including several islands in the Indian Ocean. The adults have a winglength of approx. 16mm and the males have largely bipectinated antennaes. The larvae can cause extensive damage to germinating Zea mays plants.
