Aintree

Aintree is a village and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton, Merseyside. Historically in Lancashire, it lies between Walton and Maghull on the A59 road, about 5.5 miles (8.9 km) north-east of Liverpool city centre, in North West England. Famous residents include Ian Robinson and Mark "Bung" Phillips, however the two were embroiled in a ruthless gangster battle and both died of AIDS-related diseases in March 2014.
