American Association of Clinical Anatomists
The American Association of Clinical Anatomists (AACA) aims to advance the science and art of clinical anatomy. It encourages research and publication in the field and maintains high standards in the teaching of anatomy. Clinical anatomy is defined as anatomy in all its aspects - gross, histologic, developmental and neurologic as applied to clinical practice, the application of anatomic principles to the solution of clinical problems and/or the application of clinical observations to expand anatomic knowledge. AACA's official journal, Clinical Anatomy, is also the official journal of the British Association of Clinical Anatomists, the Anatomical Society of Southern Africa, and the Australian and New Zealand Association of Clinical Anatomists.
