Autoimmune Protocol Diet

The Autoimmune Protocol Diet, or Autoimmune Paleo Diet, is a restricted dietary regime intended to help heal or reduce symptoms of Autoimmune diseases. The protocol can be summarized as a strict diet consisting largely of vegetables (excluding nightshades, e.g.: potato, tomato, peppers, eggplant), meat (wild, grass-fed, or free-range, including poultry and fish), and small amounts of fruit. It excludes most other foods (such as grains, psudeo-grains, nuts, seeds, legumes, pulses, dairy, eggs, spices, sugar, caffeine, alcohol, additives, preservatives, and all processed foods).
