Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Terorisme
The National Agency for Combating Terrorism (BNPT) is the Indonesian agency (LPNK) that works to prevent terrorism. BNPT is headed by a chief who is responsible to the President. Presidential Regulation in 2012 elevated the post of BNPT Chief to ministerial level. The predecessor of this agency was Combating Terrorism Coordinating Desk (DKPT).
