Badhiphul
The Badhiphul are a Hindu caste found in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. The Badhiphul are an occupational Hindu caste, traditionally involved in metallurgy and carpentry. Little is known of their origin, but they are likely to be a sub-group within the Barhai community, which took to specialising in carving and modelling wooden objects. They are concentrated in western Uttar Pradesh, and speak the Khari boli dialect of Hindu.
