Bob Pavlak

Robert L. "Bob" Pavlak, Sr. (July 18. 1924 – October 9, 1994) was an American police officer and politician. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Pavlak served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II, He then joined the St. Paul Police Department and was a police sergeant. From 1967 to 1974 and 1979, Pavlak served in the Minnesota House of Representatives and was a Republican. In 1979, the Minnesota House of Representatives removed Pavlak because of unfair campaign practices. From 1980 to 1990, Pavlak served in the United States Marshals Service. Pavlak died of cancer at his home in West St. Paul, Minnesota.
